    -I’ve gone great white shark cage diving in South Africa. 
    -My favorite food is chicken wings 😻😻
    -I petted a big ass lion in Argentina, like Mufasa big! 

    Advice:
    Listen to your body and coaches! When we tell you guys to drop weight or to not do certain things it’s for your own good, we don’t want you to get hurt & we want you to learn how to do it the right way.

  • My name is Ricardo Rivera, I prefer to go by Cardo. I’m from Rochester, New York and am 31 years old. I went to school for Finance Technology, auto mechanic, and hvac. My life goal is to become a life coach. Was a Sergeant  in US Army 2016-2021.

    Coaching Experience: I was the in charge of making sure any Soldier i was responsible maintain fitness and body composition standards outlined in Army Regulation 670-1. Other than that this is my first opportunity really coaching here at Unfiltered.

    - I moved here form Venezuela when I was 18 years old.

    Advice: Trust your instincts. If something does not feel right, always communicate with your coach. Your best interest is always our first priority.

    Favorite thing about CF: The grind and the community. Love looking at a workout and thinking, that looks hard and then looking at it again after I finish and saying to myself, I did that! The support you get before, during and after the workout. 

    Fun Facts:
    -I’m a retired police Deputy Chief and served 8 years in the United States Air Force.
    - I ride an Indian Chieftain motorcycle.
    - I have ridden a bicycle on several occasions from Virginia to Washington DC.

    Advice:
    There are things you can do and things you don’t put your mind to. Take that first step and keep moving. Ok to slow down but don’t stop.

    - Training for a full marathon I would watch CrossFit documentaries to get pumped for training and that’s how got interested in CrossFit. 
    - Sing and play drums. Can do both at the same time.
